What this information means
Public IP
This is the public address that websites can usually see. After connecting to a VPNPL route, a different address here indicates that your browser is accessing this page through a new network endpoint.
Location
Location is inferred from IP registration and routing data to estimate where the current endpoint is. It is not precise, and the reported city or region may be affected by how the network provider records its address.
ISP
The ISP field identifies the network organisation or provider associated with this endpoint. When choosing a route, compare it with the location instead of judging the connection from the address alone.
Proxy detection
This result comes from network classification data supplied by the GeoIP interface on this site and is only a reference for the current endpoint. Different sites use different databases and update schedules, so results may not match exactly.
DNS Check
DNS leak check
A changed public IP does not mean that DNS lookups use the same route. DNS testing requires comparing the resolver servers with the current endpoint’s network ownership; this page does not invent or prefill test results.
Stay connected to the target route
Do not switch routes during the check. First pause browser extensions or system network tools that may rewrite DNS settings, so their network rules do not override one another.
Run a trusted DNS test
On a trusted DNS test page, run a standard or extended query and note the region and network organisation associated with the resolver servers it reports. VPNPL does not request third-party test interfaces in the background.
Compare with the current endpoint
If the resolver servers still clearly belong to the local network used before connecting while the public IP has moved to the selected location, DNS requests may not be following the route as expected.
Verify again after making changes
Reconnect to the route, enable the client’s local DNS protection, and clear the DNS cache in your browser or system. Then run the same test again and compare the results.

Lookup privacy
This page uses VPNPL’s same-domain GeoIP interface to return current network information and does not connect to third-party public lookup interfaces. VPNPL does not record this page’s lookup results or save them in browser storage. Copying only processes the visible content on your device.
If the interface is temporarily unavailable, the result card will show “Temporarily unavailable” rather than filling in the location, ISP or proxy status with an estimate.
